Curricula

Current research supports social skills or social competence training, or social emotional learning, at young ages, as the missing link in bullying prevention. The proactive Cool Kind Kid Social Skills, Character Values, and Anti-Bullying Curriculum, Elementary School Edition, is award-winning music for kids and fun characters and social skills activities that engage students as they learn tools for bullying prevention. Within the 4 modules are 14 social skills topics and 96 sub-topics. The curriculum includes alignment with Common Core and National Standards, a Parent Involvement component, and multiple ways that students can learn to be “Cool Kind Kids.” As this course redefines “cool” for students, the motivation for bullying is considerably weakened. They learn, “The KIND kid is the COOL kid, not the bully.” The Cool Kind Kid Camp Kits provide fun, shortened activities for schools, camps, after-school, community and recreation programs.
